Formula verification
We treat the on-page formula as the source of truth. Before a calculator ships, we align it with standard percentage definitions and run worked examples that match hand calculation.
- Textbook cross-check for core percent operations
- Worked examples published on the same page as the tool
- Unit tests for representative and edge inputs
Money and rounding
Financial calculators show how amounts are rounded. When banker’s rounding (round half to even) is used, we state it on the page. We do not apply silent rounding tricks that change totals without disclosure.
Ownership
Editorial responsibility for calculator accuracy and site content rests with Oguzhan Aydin as owner of Online Percent Calculator.
Corrections
If you find an error, tell us via the contact section on the About page. We prioritize fixes that change numeric results or misstate a formula.
When we correct a material mistake, we update the page, adjust tests, and note the change in our site update log when applicable.
